Hi everyone, I just finished my masters degree a few weeks ago, and I’m looking for a new role. I obtained a bachelors degree in 2011 however that school closed and did not share records with WV higher education comission, neither are they at student clearinghouse. The school was accredited, during my time then lost accreditation a year after. (Mountain State University). Can anyone recommend how to handle this with HR if they can’t verify one of my degrees? First timer here at 6 m preG. My mother (south Asian background) wants to come stay with us for two months when baby is born. I’m trying to keep it to two weeks. Even without the baby we already completely grate on each other and it drives me insane how she watches / stares and scrutinizes even when I’m doing something like making eggs. I don’t think it would be good for chill environment to have her that long. Any ladies with difficult mom relationships where they were surprised post delivery?

Going back to work in 2 weeks after maternity leave. Should I check in with my boss at this point? I am no longer in consulting so I do have someone I report to. If so, what message should I send? I was thinking along the line of "I want to check in and say hi, I am coming back in 2 weeks and let me know if you need anything from me"?
