Hello, I have received an offer from Southwest Airlines as a Associate Technology Analyst with their direct college hire program. Will be graduating in May with a degree in MIS and also have internships experience as a Business Systems analyst intern. The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?

I really enjoy the flexibility!
The pay is hard to beat, that's for sure. And I love the challenges. But I also don't have a family waiting for me to come home.
One of my husband's ex-army buddies is a travelling nurse in his late 30's. He absolutely loves it and makes great money. His girl travels with him and I think the location hopping gives him some excitement he was missing after military life. I think the question of whether or not it is gonna worth it to you really comes down to what feeds your soul. You said you were craving stability before--are you craving change now?
Yup, I loved the freedom and flexibility. Plus being able to meet new people!
Another option is remote nursing if you’re looking to travel but want stability and don’t want he worst assignments. Pays well too.
