I didn’t get paid today. If payday (the 15th) is Monday, I get paid Saturday. Plus, my bank has been paying me 1 day early for months. My friend at another company (same bank), got paid yesterday. Slack’d my manager, they didn’t get paid either. Coworker, same company, on a different team got paid.

I emailed payroll although it’s Saturday. I work for a 2k person tech comp. Called my bank & no check has been sent. Thoughts? I have money in savings but how can I NOT go tf off about this?

I work as a consultant for a small HR consulting service in Ontario, Canada. Our owner/president wants us to hit a revenue target of $1m this year. The closest we’ve come is $800k in 2019. We also noticed that in 2019 we hit our highest revenue but did the fewest overall client work for that year. In 2020 and 2021 we did more client work but fell short of $800k revenue. Our avg rev per client is $2500, with a lot of single projects @ $500. Does it makes sense to increase our prices?

1st Job - 90k…. Is this a good salary? Late to the game at 34. Don’t even know anything about personal finance. Has anyone ever tried shrooms to treat depression and anxiety? I’ve been unhappy/depressed about life for the last 2-4 years. I’ve seen a therapist. I have moments where I’m happy and that comes in short spurts. But a lot of the times I’m depressed/anxious and I honestly just want to try shrooms because I’ve heard it may help.

I’ll probably be alone this Christmas and I’ve been living alone during Covid. I’ve been fine and done tons of hobbies but thinking about spending the holidays alone is getting to me. Feeling really sad about friends I have drifted apart from despite efforts to stay in touch. My best friend from high school and I haven’t seen each other in about 4 years, I messaged her a year ago, got a nice response from her, and I tried keeping the convo going but she left me on read. Offered her and her boyfriend tickets to join me and my boyfriend at a concert in fall 2019, left us on read with no response. Her bday was last week and she left my bday wishes on read too.
