It's true. But u need an external source of positive disconnect. I found crossfit where you exercise so hard you can only focus on the workout and all else is rated from your brain. Compare that to people at a gym who are texting while supposedly working out and never disconnect from the source of their angst

I was recently promoted, and now part of my team report to me. I'm now able to see their pay rates and I am honestly so disappointed in the company. Especially since we just gave annual raises in Feb, plus we can all see where the money is going and it's not to the employees. Makes me sick

I (36F) am married to another woman (34F) and we have a baby (5moF). We split all childcare, cleaning, meal prep, errands etc fairly evenly and it works well. Maybe she cooks more than I do bc she likes it, and I clean more bc I need to have a clean house. My friend (35F) recently took a business trip and literally put a binder together with instructions for her husband re: daycare drop off and pick up, what to feed the kids, when to take out the trash and so on. Paralegal needs $ because family needs it back & think she still has it since deal isn’t done. I let paralegal borrow money (cover my a** with documentation). First payment is weeks late and only made on demand. Month 2 not paid. Month 3 is overdue a few days. Should I file suit? Loop in my boss? Other options? It’s 2/3 my total savings.
