I dislocated my knee ice skating with my kids today, hurt worse than anything and I've been injured too many times to count. The thing that kept going through my mind is I won't be able to workout now. It's the thing that keeps me going, I usually workout 2 hours every morning. I guess I can sit on my bench and do upper body lifts. Sucks so bad.

Can you get into a top tier MBA program from an untraditional background? Context for me, I’m 24, working at a non-profit engineering firm. I’m still trying to gain more experience before applying, but I’m concerned this job won’t look good for MBA schools.

Have a coworker who volunteers for work but never ends up doing it. At what point does it make sense to go to the partner to address this? We’re both midlevels, and I’m tired of having to put in even more time every weekend to pick up his slack. If this were a junior, I’d address it with them first, but this is unacceptable from a fifth/sixth year.

I’ve been living in the UK for 5 years now - and I’m growing out of the whole drinking culture. Whenever I have friends from abroad visiting they’re shocked when they discover how much ppl drink. I’m no longer interested in going « out out » - but my partner is a big drinker (so are his friends). It’s making me uncomfortable at times. Every social activity here seems to have alcohol involved, and it’s making me question whether I want to stay in the UK.

Back in 2018, my boss took me to my first strip club against my will. It was my last day as an intern, so our team went out for drinks after work. We drank at a couple places. Afterwards, my boss had to drive me back to my car, which was at the first place we drank at. But while he had me in the moving car, he got the idea to drive to a strip club instead. I really didn’t want to go because I had finals, projects, and senior design. But it was cool, he gave me a few hundred to blow.
