I don't even have a degree but all I've done in my life is childcare...what can I do besides this? I'm 25 and would ideally prefer not to go back to school because I don't want to take on any debt. I can do cleaning/organization/laundry and I've been almost a personal shopper for a few families. Any suggestions?

You also need to think about health insurance. Believe me, it's important and necessary especially as a female. We can have many health issues. Sometimes it's worth the debt in order to make the money you need to survive. Otherwise, go into a profession like hair or nails, they can make a lot of money. Do something with your hands that you are good at, doesn't matter that you're female, electrician, plumber, tech, all make good money. Nanny's can make great money as well, depending on who you work for. My friend's daughter makes $2000 every 2 weeks, free and clear PLUS insurance!! Just something to think about.

What about nanny? Check out the consulting mom bowl and working mom bowl. Sounds like there is a demand for nanny’s.

Im a full time nanny and make 55k a year (cash) its hard work but also extremely rewarding. The babies bring me so much joy and the families always treat you like family so they do anything to support you in whatever you need!

Try out Admin staff in a school! Check out private schools too.

Go to any grocery store and become a personal shopper. My friend’s daughter does this part-time but she makes good money. All the stores are looking for someone like you!!!

I would also add that you could work for the police at one of their call centers. They would train you…911 operator or police dispatcher. You would have great benefits and a very competitive salary with no college required.

If you want to get into the schools, how about a teacher's aide?

Also, professional dog sitting-

Hi all - looking for stats and help on what a St Consultant level III gets paid here in London? (My understanding is that levels are indicative of the cost of living of your home office and thus a higher level guarantees a higher pay). With 80K I feel like I’m being severely low-balled. I’m transferring from a US office.

A parent of one of my students told admin she thinks it's irresponsible that I won't be grading over Christmas break. I let the students know to get any work they need graded in before the break and I'll get it to it during our workdays in January. Apparently that's not fast enough for her 🙄. Is it wrong that I'm sort of pissed off by this? Should I say something?
