I don’t have a degree, but I have great sales experience. What is the best area to move to if seeking a new opportunity? What are the requirements? My goal is to make 100k this year.

Hi! Given what you're writing, I'd recommend pursuing career exploration, which is a process that is distinct from and a precursor to the job search, including a series of steps of practical learning and self-reflection in order to compare, contrast, and clarify which career path you are confident in pursuing. THAT is the process whereby you can confidently narrow in on which role, industry and environment is the best fit for you. In fact, I've helped numerous professionals to figure out, clarify, and pursue their ideal career direction. While pivots might seem big and scary, they're often more feasible than you think, but you at least deserve to identify which path would be the best fit for you first, and then determine what your strategy, approach or next steps would be.

What state are you in? We always have healthcare sales positions and if you have at least 4 years of sales experience we will take that in lieu of a 4 year degree. It’s a smaller base with a large bonus uncapped potential. However if you want to move into other sectors of healthcare Sales, then I recommend you finish your Bachelors.

I live in Shawnee, KS just outside of Kansas City. I don’t have a Bachelors. When you say healthcare sales, that seems broad. What does this position specifically sell?

Define great sales experience? What industry? You can easily make 100k in tech

I’m in pharma and you could do that 100% with previous sales experience but unfortunately all require a degree. I have a BS but not in science, medical, business, or tech. It’s counterintuitive to require a degree but it is what it is and changed around the time I got into this industry which is not “big pharma” and is a small sliver of specialty pharma.

I’ve decided it’s time to organize myself and my family. Get into some routines and reduce the haphazardness that’s been stressing us out. I’d like to make space in my life for fun and me time. Any tips ? Strategies that work for you?

PSA: didn’t think anyone needed to hear this, but apparently many do. When you’re interviewing for a job you actually want, and the interviewer asks if you have any questions for them at the end, have questions ready, and legitimate ones. It’s a really bad look when candidates say “no I don’t have any questions,” or they ask something incredibly stupid like “what cool swag do you get?”

Hello - I am team sales manager. I have been in my role for over 2 1/2 years. I currently make around 52k base with 19k at risk for a total of 72k or more. I recently applied to a position with the same title, however I would go from an in office worker to a virtual worker. Since I started I have finished my bachelors and completed my MBA. I would be doing the same job virtually in a different org. Would it be acceptable to ask for a sizable base increase if offered based on education attained?
