Losing 20lbs is amazing, you should feel on top of the world! That’s a huge accomplishment
Excellent work, continue prioritizing your health forever!
Yet I’m so jealous of your update! I’d love to be in the same position to say that. Congrats! And yes please share some tips that don’t involve me giving up wine, French fries or chocolate
VP1, not unpopular. I do that but I also exercise and follow a more strict diet. That being said, if I want to eat a burger and fries, chocolate, or drinks I do it within my limits.
Congrats! Mind sharing tips?
I was never a big fan of alcohol , so I guess that was one less thing to worry about. Milkshake was/is my poison. Now I take that as a reward! In fact, one of the driving factors for me was to enjoy food without feeling guilty about it. And regular exercise , consistent diet is the tax I pay to truly enjoy food with occasional “bad” food as the reward.
Also, I just wanted to feel good…wasn’t trying to lose specific weight by specific time. And you will feel good sooner , even before losing significant weight. Apple Watch helped me with that, as month by month I could see my activities going up. Actually I got to know my weight through a routine physical recently!

That’s great! Tips / tricks always welcome!
_No drive-thurs or limit sugar (pick one)
_intermittent fasting
_preemptive snacking
_eat nothing but healthy food for a few days in a row each week (try ordering from service like sakara life or similar to make easier)
_choose the right booze (or limit if you have to have hazy ipa or something)
_15min if calisthenics every morning before shower, without exception
_no cardio (this one prob isn’t for everyone but my appetite is off the charts after cardio)
Above got me from high 160’s to 138 as of this morning over roughly 3y period (M36). I didn’t start all at once this is just what I found I could stick to over time. Regardless of tactics the key is to make a habit out of it and never stop.
