jokes apart - you will notice the long hours working culture inherent with asian way of upbringing. india, japan, china - the population to opportunities available tends you to focus on pricing best value ( not that it's always right or effective ). the other aspect of the culture is work is considered first then social life. all this adds up on asians prioritizing work over social life. you will notice that this changes as the 1st gen immigrants become second gen etc. The other big aspect is for 1st gen immigrants , losing a job in US means losing all the things they have worked hard for , so that also drives them to keep giving extra. Now having said that , most of the asian if given alternatives tend chose a better work life balance , it just takes time to adapt and embrace that culture.
I work with stupid white rednecks on my project and they work crazy hours and are total douchebags in terms of respecting women on the project.. So it is just not with Indians.. You can have such situations anywhere.. OP needs to deal with it instead of whining.. Otherwise Indians are going to eat you up my friend.. They are really competitive.. So either you start doing something about it or make sure you buy some napkins to wipe your tears... Btw I am not an Indian but I have worked with Indians for quite sometime..

The behavior everyone hates here is the unnecessary hierarchical obsession, the ritual of making people do things in a way that is not necessary for success, the demeanor towards women, and the non-work related behaviors that make you want to punch these m*****f******!

Whenever I work with an all-Indian team I don't subscribe to their "work all hours of the night" philosophy. If they want to work until 2a that's fine with me but I'm going home when my work is done. Nobody gets extra points only sleeping 4 hours a day and having zero social life. However, I also tell them "there's no reason for you to be here any longer" and they don't listen
Calm down ple. OP, brown nation has far higher population and a lot of it are racing towards the US shores. You are getting invaded. It sucks, but it is what it is. Your colleges needed money, they gave us admission, your firms wanted to expand, we got jobs and work visa, real estate wanted to grow, we got loans, govt wanted taxes, we got benefits. Try enjoying with us, that might be a win win

From a woman's perspective the issue is multiplied many times. These 'dudes' resent women. In theor country of origin women do not have many legal protections from awful behavior of men. This shitty mindset comes with them.
