I am scared of dogs. One stray bit me as a child and I could never got over it. I see they are like family and they are super loyal to their humans. I can never get over my fear for them. They also seem to be a ton of work - managing their pee/poop, hair shedding, grooming /managing body n mouth odors, cleaning up after them constantly, etc. I can see why people love them and I like wholesome pics, people enjoying their time with them, loving them, etc. I can not see myself as being a pet owner though. I only feel bad that it is expected that we all love dogs. People can have other preferences but I am judged badly when I avoid them on walks or don’t bend down to pet them, etc. I feel uncomfortable because of this.

He’s a shih poo! Shih tzu and a poodle mix!

I don’t trust people who don’t like animals 🧐

My shiba is very independent & it feels like we're cuddling her more than she cuddles us 😭 so very low maint in our opinions but high maint in stubbornness haha. They only require a bath 1-2x/yr or it'll be tough on their coat so they're extremely clean from what we know & research similar to how cats don't get bathe often. Just comb to reduce the shed. Love her to death but she always have a resting b*tch face of how annoying we are ☺️ she's a small hunting dog, she'll catch rats & stuff which I've seen.. Gross.

I like my dog more than I like most people

Nope. My girl doesn’t have an IG

I don't like people who don't like dogs. 😄 But seriously, I was at a park this weekend and there was a man with mic and loudspeaker lecturing everyone in a .5 mile radius about Jesus, Heaven and Hell. Everyone ignored him, until I heard him say loudly and clearly, "Dogs are not man, and not from God! Dogs do not go to Heaven!" And there was audible booing from every direction.

Sounds like someone didn’t read the Bible that closely then... It literally says God made all the things, “and it was good”. Which ooobviously means good bois go to heaven.

I agree. My SO wants a dog and I'm resisting. They smell, they take a crap and it's still lingers all in their fur and then they sit on your furniture. They literally smell other ass and stick their nose into other dogs pee and then want to lick your face?! And don't get me started on picking up hot dog crap off the sidewalk and fleas or worms....yukk

Ey2: I own a dog. He gets washed weekly (more as needed), has been trained not to lick faces, and is only allowed on furniture when his special blanket is out. You can raise dogs to suit your preferences. Not all are undisciplined smelly maniacs

Hey moms, How do you usually split up work after a baby with partner? Does anyone else hate the interviews that you think have gone well, but then you end up being ghosted? I thought I did well because the interviewer told me I would ‘fit right into the team and team culture’ and said ‘keep an eye on your email, we move quickly and you’ll probably hear about next steps in the next few days’. Makes me feel like I am terrible at reading situations (on top of being terrible at interviewing). I hate not knowing what I did wrong and what I should be fixing.
