I don't travel much, maybe 2-3 times a year. I signed up for AA rewards and try to stick with them solely. should I also pick a hotel and stick with it in the same way?

I’m a AA person (Oneworld). does it make a difference how many points I earn when I fly with a partner airline based on where I book? Do i earn the same if I book directly through the AA app/website, or from a partner airlines website (eg Cathay, British, etc)- assuming the ticket price is identical?

How do you say, “I have too much on my plate”? Not responding that you’re at capacity when someone tries to give you more work, but telling the people you work for that your current workload is too much and something needs to shift elsewhere. At this point I don’t care whether my “too much” is someone else’s “just fine.” All I know is I can’t keep doing what I’m doing. The mistakes I’m making just trying to keep up are getting bigger.

How do I not get overwhelmed by small mistakes I’m making? I’m trying to not make the same mistake twice and keeping a list, but I just feel so demoralized. I’m in the IHG Diamond challenge now and unlikely to get to the 10 nights total. I got the offer for $200 for Ambassador and 20,000 bonus points after a 2 night stay. I see the free weekend night certificate with a 2 night paid stay, but it seems you have to book an inflated rate for those 2 nights. Is it worth me getting Ambassador (and keeping Diamond) if I only have 5-10 planned nights at Intercontinental in 2023? Not very familiar with IHG to clearly decide.
