Because we all scared and need something (or someone) to get mad about to make ourselves feel better and more in control of the situation.

We couldn’t possibly let people do their own risk assessments based on their health, lifestyle, and risk factors to determine whether to get the vaccine.

We also need to pay attention to the news (NPR, Fox News, CNN, The Daily Wire, MSNBC, etc) that does nothing but hyperpoliticize the matter. We couldn’t possibly turn off the news and go about our daily lives and make the assessments from there.

Advice appreciated - looking at tech stocks where I’ve been long for a while (~6 months or so) - some of them like docusign, mongoDB, datadog are peaking. I know tech isn’t the biggest loser in covid - but I’m thinking to cover positions so I look at the volumes for these it’s not much - so can’t decide if it’s worth it or should I just take profits out ? Or what’s the best way to model this to figure out my play ?

What are your thought in job hopping? I feel like recruiters are reaching out daily to offer a newer, higher paying position at competing PR agencies. Does it look bad to switch large agencies every 1-2 years? The pay raise is over 10k but I feel like this may make my resume look unattractive in the future since I switched companies during COVID.

Need good (sound) advice.

I recently met with an old classmate/friend that I hadn't seen in around 2 years. I'm worried that the loss of a close family member, the pandemic, and some professional struggles have pushed them to substance abuse. It was pretty evident that they were on something and the past few times that we've talked over the phone the topic has come up (that they're going to clean up soon)

Pet parents: what pet insurance do you have? I have 2 young cats that need to be insured.

One of my cats got a bit sick recently, and due to covid all veterinary clinics around me were not accepting new patients, and the one that actually did only had availability for mid-September. Going to the ER was $250 for the visit + $500 for the xray and $450 for tests... without insurance... definitely don’t want to pay so much again, especially considering I have 2 cats I’d rather be safe than sorry
