Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

If you’re outside, the risk is like next to nothing. Now screaming and shouting doesn’t help, but we didn’t see any spikes during the Floyd protests, we’ve had outdoor football games with no spikes.
That being said, if you’re young and not overweight, the risk to you is incredibly small to begin with
Little risk if you’re outdoors. Almost no risk if everyone is also wearing a mask outdoors.

Well, unfortunately cops keep murdering people during the pandemic so no real choice. Police aren’t taking the year off, ya know?

Sometimes things are so bad you take the risk; here are some mitigating factors:
- the people protesting for justice are a self-selecting group of people who *likely* take COVID seriously. That means you're around a lot of people who have been following guidelines and are lower-risk.
- we know outdoors and mask basically eliminate your risk entirely
- the combination of the three: responsible individuals, outdoors, wearing a mask, mean you can protest without any concern.
Flipside: violent police using excessive force and chemical irritants can increase your risk somewhat.
Not a credible single case study from outside activity. The indoor before and after protests, create risk. Weather matters much more than anyone wants to credit risk. Three season Heat, people inside, risk; AC season, summer wave people head indoors. It’s nice outside with sun. No risks. Even crowded unmasked beach activities do not drive infection risk, in crowded bars indoor after, hugely do.

I assume you’re a white male, meaning you probably won’t get killed by a policeman and, therefore, would have no reason to protest. Unfortunately others are not so lucky.

Agreed. Which is why I said 25 percent in my comment although that website gives in the 30s based on how you slice and dice it. However, the fact remains that, based on available data, people of colour are more likely to die at the hands of police.

A lot of people are unemployed or underemployed because of COVID. Some are using the protests to pass time or take out their aggression/frustration. Not that they actually care.
Plenty of people that do care, but let’s be real. There are bad apples in the bunch.
