Some transferable skills - Consulting (some forms), event planning, film/tv/broadcast production, publicist, anything really that needs organization and logistic skills and requires a lot of personal interaction
I've been feeling the same! Currently applying to Brand management and/or event coordination roles. Always be interviewing! Acct mgmt is draining but don't let that prevent you from doing what you need to!
Have you considered a skilled trade school? There is a huge demand for all sorts of skilled trade work. It’s physical. You’re making a difference. And it pays well (especially once you can establish your own business). All the trade-owners in my area live in multi million dollar homes
I wouldn't walk away from it completely. It pays well right?
It sounds like you need a break. I'd put in my 2 years and then take off somewhere like Taiwan or Japan for a year and teach English or something. Then come back fresh and get back into it.
The ability to do that all depends on if you got kids wife debt and what what. But if you don't , I'd say just do that.
I’ve been going between advertising, PR and events management for years now. The thing about events is that it doesn’t mesh super well with family life (often outside office hours) but it’s so much fun.
A few questions on Crunchyroll Had interview with HM who said they are very slow with the hiring process. Is this a red flag? How is WLB? anyone staying remote at Crunchyroll?
Event producer?
