Where are all of the folks working to help solve arguably the greatest challenge our generation?! Energy bowl is dead, anyone willing to share their roles and how they‘re supporting the energy transition? Hoping this can help lead others to promising and meaningful career paths in energy (and also hope this post won’t be a total dud). I have been getting help for my most recent bout with severe depression for weeks but this time things are extremely different. Nothing feels better. I don’t want to go back to work because I feel no better. It’s so bad that for the past few I’ve had dreams of my own demise, and it’s not all that bad (still better than waking up). I’m not going to hurt myself but this is creating more stress than I really need. Any ideas? Siemens stress should be declared a health hazard.

Have you thought about volunteering as a teaching assistant for an online course just to have the experience? It's a thought, anyway. I'm not a big fan of free work but sometimes it's the ticket in.
This is a great suggestion, but you don't have to necessarily volunteer. When I was first starting out, I worked for https://instructionalconnections.com/. They partner with universities, assign you courses and you serve as an academic coach. Connecting with students, grading assignments, working under the supervision of the faculty member. Good experience to get your foot in the door. You are paid per student, roughtly $15-$20 per student depending on the course.
Looks like there are plenty of openings, but the salary range varies significantly. Where are you based? And have you asked for feedback as to why you're not getting any offers?
I’m in Ohio. The requirements are 3 years teaching experience, which I don’t have. Although I’ve been a mentor for student interns for 9 years.
Hire on as a clinical instructor or lab instructor gain experience and then move to class instructor after some experience. Also look at ADN programs they are a great place to start. It’s a tough place to break into. I’m finishing my DNP this year and will go back to teaching in a few years. I’m hoping my previous teaching roles will help. I taught before you needed a Doctorate in BSN programs
