I passed on the 2nd try. What I learned from the 1st try was to do questions over and over. And then with the sims, try to practice as much as you can. I had to rewatch the lectures and watched the final review lectures too. I used Becker. Some say flash cards help but my brain doesn’t like reading so I end up skimming it. Study a lot of the entity material. Especially basis. Good luck
Chapter 3-5 is the core of the exam! You got this
Try a different method. Whether that be different study material (I find ninja MCs helpful) or a different timeline (maybe you’re more productive at night studying vs the morning). Are you actually focusing when you study? Or are you checking Snapchat every 2 seconds and texting?
I also find it helpful to write down notes after every MC session. Write down what kept showing up. It shows up for a reason....because it’s tested heavily. Dedicate every Sunday to rewriting notes and review sessions - no lectures or new material

I passed reg on the second try. As hard as it may be you need to redo each mcq question and ask yourself why it’s correct (even if you got it right) then you need to do the sims for chapter 1-5 and fully understand again the concept. Then you need to do the aicpa practice exam and fully understand each question. Regulation isn’t like audit where you’re picking “the best” answer! You either know it or you don’t which in essence is an easier exam... study every single day for an uninterrupted period even if it’s an hour and retake your exam within a month
And do not lie to yourself!! If you do not understand partnership basis, c Corp basis, individual taxation (mcqs) etc. then you have no business taking the exam and that’s ok it just needs you need to practice more
