I found it easier to do the exercises and practice tests and learn from the mistakes than reading the book more than once.

Do you think the trouble is you didn't do enough problems? If so, Wiley. If you fell asleep thru the lectures or you just can't stand Tim Gearty and his -- say it with me -- partner in crime, maybe you need Roger. Roger CPA saved my paint in AUD, but not so much in the others. Might be cause Roger was in audit. I thought the Becker books were better organized, but I also did Roger and Gleim. MCQs.

Add ninja notes study techniques

Rogers cpa helped me pass all my exams after failing audit and bec with rogers

As much as Tim gearty pisses me off, his jokes stick pretty well with me. Look back at how you studied and try making changes. MOST IMPORTANTLY: ask other cpas/colleagues studying. I've added plenty of study tips along the way. 3/3 so far, Reg by YE! Good luck!

Are you a visual, kinetic, or auditory learner? Match that with the way you spend the majority of your time learning. Unless you are an auditory learner, don't waste your time with the lectures. I'm more of a visual learner so I spent all of my time doing MC questions and passed on my first attempts.

Partners or whomever can help me understand about billing and hours. To keep things simple, let’s say you only have one staff to work 1,700 billable hours a year on a $60k salary and you have only one job that and the rate charged to the client is $300/hour and an projected hours budget of 1,700 hours. So ideally you would have revenue of $510k. If the staff takes less time partners make less money and if they take more time partners make more money while the staff keeps the same salary?
