I’m sorry you’re going through this, it does get better & easier. There is an anxiety/depression bowl on here that you might find helpful. I can’t provide a recommendation for a specific therapist, but personally I think they definitely help, maybe check out PsychologyToday.com to see if you can find someone. I’m currently taking sertraline after having been on gabapentin and pregabalin regimens over the last couple of years (helped immensely with anxiety and a little with depression, but left me VERY zonked out and tolerance builds very quickly, also a nightmare to wean off of). I’m finding that sertraline is working for me, it’s not for everyone but I think is worth exploring with a psychiatrist. I’d recommend having a dedicated psychiatrist to monitor the medicine (instead of a PCP) and getting individual therapy if those options are possible/feasible.
