Quick qstn - I'm receiving HRA of 24075 from my employer but I would like dhow the rent paid as 96k p.a (while filing ITR). Even if I do so, I was only able to get exemption of 24075 from gross. Checking if we can speak to payroll department to increase Actual HRA since I'm actually paying more rent than compared. Will I be able to do so ?Deloitte Newco EY Accenture Genpact KPMG

What’s the difference between a Brand consulting firm like Prophet or Lippincott and an agency like IPG Mediabrands or Publicis Media. I just started my career in marketing and didn’t realize how much we rely on agency partners. The agency’s do lower funnel work, but they also do strategy, which made me curious on the difference. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m a fresh undergrad!

No respectable network was formed in college. It's developed and improved through your career.
Ah, I love how fair and egalitarian our nation is. Tell the lower class to pull themselves up by their bootstraps while the upperclass give all the opportunities to their family, friends, and "network". Network consisting of people with the right "pedigree".
It’s funny to hear Americans complain about their purportedly “false” meritocracy and “rotten” society. SSE1 is on the money. Compare your system to what’s around you, please. (P.S. I’m not in the states)...

Missed out on life? Wow, dramatic. 😂
OP maybe when you’re straight out of undergrad. After that all that matters is your experience.
Man! People will find anything to complain about.
Jsut go get a masters at a bigger school ?

Not a question. Please fix punctuation.
I went to a big 10, typical college school and I don’t feel like I have a network from that, and I definitely don’t use it. The best part of life is being grown and doing what you want, college is a small part of childhood. The best is yet to come
At least you have a network. Some of us came to the US after college. In my case, I had to start all over.
Nobody cares about your school - the world is so big, it's ridiculous to think that a tiny sliver who were privileged enough to go to a handful of name-brand institutions at such a young age are the only ones who will be successful or live life fully. There are so many people who went to no-name schools that are killing it through hard work, talent, etc. And even if they aren't in a prestigious job, who cares? Are they happy? Are they making a positive impact? These are far more important measures of a life well-lived.
Is a tier 1 tiny school, like Williams?

Build a network at Accenture, plenty of people jump to more interesting places. Or get into grad school and build a new network.

I went to a huge school with a huge network, and I never use it. I created my own network and use that much more often.
