Need help from Amazon 🐠 Anyone interviewed for Amazon L5 BIE in GSF supply chain team? The JD said basic qualifications include data modeling, ETL, data warehousing and optimization. Any idea or experience how they will test these topics? Asking about related experience? Or show some data and ask how you will deal with that? Or like a case study, given a senario and ask how you think in order to tackle problem? Need advice/idea/experience urgently. Thanks in advance.Amazon @BIE

Are you putting the same level of effort into your job as you did in the specificity of this post?
hmmm, 1) In today's world, YOU are responsible for your education and self-improvement, work on yourself as hard as your job, build market-relevant skills/expertise, there is no shortage of FREE resources available to do that 2) Get a mentor that is 1-2 levels above you, monthly chats, advice. 3) Volunteer for a project, raise your hand...

Are you less than 30 years old?
May I ask why you ask that?
What's your role?
I work at fb and I feel the same. I’m in Ops.
OP, have you brought this up with your manager? If you do not feel challenged at your role, I recommend asking for more responsibilities.
Additionally, I assume at Facebook, there is also a lot of room to grow into other teams/departments where you feel more challenged.
Finally, there is always finding challenge somewhere else.
Internal transfers are eligible for ppl with a certain IC level (3+) in Ops. It can take more than 2 yrs for a person to get promoted.
I would first decide what you want to do - your passion. That can be the most difficult obstacle. It may not even involve working.
Once you’ve identified your passion, ask yourself “am I at the right workplace?”. If so, find out what role you want there given your desired path.
Next, literary start hanging around that department/group and meeting the people there, listen to their discussions, ask questions, ask to help out, ask to do the most mundane tasks - get your foot in the door essentially.
If you truly have defined your passion, you won’t have any difficulty doing whatever it takes to make it happen.
You’re lucky to work at Facebook. Take advantage of all the networking opportunities. Look at your job to a means to an end for now until you find your passion!
Good luck.
