Any in-house counsel in here willing to post their company, level or YOE, and total comp breakdown? If you’re comfortable, please consider posting both your current stats and what your stats were when you first moved in-house. If there’s any other information that you want to share, please include that too (e.g., hours, interesting perks, etc.). Info on in-house salaries is pretty hard to come by, and it would be great to compile some data points here! Facebook Amazon Google Netflix Apple
Hi guys,
I am currently on notice period and my LWD is Sep 2, 2022. Today, I got an offer from state street mentioning my joining date as Sep 12, 2022 even though I already told HR that I would like to join from Sep 5 itself. How can I convince HR to prepone my joining date to Sep 5, 2022. I don't want to lose my one week salary guys. Pls suggest. State Street

Hello,
Last Wednesday I was able to get a Deloitte job referral, I applied the next day. Yesterday I signed in to my account and it shows that I applied for the job but when I click on the link it show me an error page. I searched for the job on the website itself and it disappeared. There were like multiple positions but different locations, now they’re all expired. What does this mean? Did they choose a candidate already? It’s weird it never happened to me before
Thank you in advance 🙏🏻

Eventually chasing only money gets you so far.
Bad idea and short sited. Hard to find work you enjoy and leadership that supports you

If you like what you do, I would give it at least 2 years
If you actually enjoy the work you do stay put. The money will come.

Sounds like you need to prioritize. There are periods in life where growing your income needs to be the focus and in other cases learning more or enjoying the job/ environment are priority.
Decide where you are now, then prioritize and move (or not move) based on that. Good luck ❤

Similar to working out- once you start working out, you’ll never be satisfied with how you look.
How much money is at stake with this potential new jump? If you have a FAANG offer that will double your compensation, take it. If you want to leave a role you like at Deloitte for $10k more for the same work at another big 4, stay where you are.
Similar work for 40-50k more
Instead, why don’t you get an new job offer (ideally increase in pay) and try to get a counter offer to retain you from your current company?
