I feel like I'm seeing more Black actors being cast in TV commercials in 2020, but I can't tell if it's actually an increase or if I'm simply paying more attention to it. Is there actual data that proves this one way or the other?
Overall it's a good thing, but I also hope that brands are changing from within and not just casting a Black family in a commercial and thinking SEE WE'RE NOT RACIST

I was just let go from my company which I really enjoyed working at after only 9 months in a newly created role. I was completely blindsided and told it’s was due to scope and organizational changes. I had no performance reviews or discussions leading up to termination. It didn’t seem like this was a performance driven decision, but I feel completely left in the dark and unsure what to do in this economic climate. Should I ask for more severance (4wk/2 paychecks is what they offered)?

Has anybody made the switch from strategy to account late in their career? I’m 15 years in and having nightmares about another 40 years of making decks nobody cares about.
