Literally happened within a split moment; in the morning I was taking the lead on calls and sometime around noon, it just hit and hit hard. Don’t know how to explain it yet, but I wanted to come here and vent. Anyone else experience this?

I have a 2hr final round with a company next week, but I’m not sure how much they pay (have a hunch it’s low) and don’t want to waste our time if we’re not aligned. The interviewers never raised salary in any of my previous rounds. Can I send an email to recruiter to level set on comp before proceeding further? Or is that looked down upon?

Followed up with 2 new potential jobs early this morning. The interviews were last week (went well) and I have yet to hear squat about next steps. I feel like I have PTSD from all this ghosting...

Just got home from being COVID tested. Went to a school gymnasium. They space out patients well. I was the only patient, registered with 2 ppl behind a plastic screen. Walked all the way to the end of the basketball court to greet a nurse in a face shield. She swabbed both my nostrils and twirled it back in there for 15 seconds each which seemed like forever. It wasn’t too uncomfortable, it made me want to sneeze. Results in 5 days. Just as I left another patient came in.

Looking for advice...I get so nervous asking for vacation, feel like I’m letting ppl down, and for a couple years it’s led to me not using all my vacation. I know it’s silly, and I’ve never actually been denied, but it’s a real anxiety and I’d like to fix it. Thanks in advance for any tips/tricks/advice!
