I feel like I'm the only teacher in my school who is concerned about covid. Am I alone?

It seems like each county/school district is responding to covid differently and the amount of pressure to return to normal varies. What's going on in your county?

Just a rant. The subway is my primary mode of transportation. Without fail, there is always at least 1 person - usually 2 - unmasked. I looked at an unmasked woman when the reminder announcement was made and she shouted, “whatchu lookin at?”. I said, “ignorance and selfishness apparently”. Look, I don’t want to wear a mask either, but it’s required and we are all in this together. I wish the MTA would enforce this.

My company is transitioning from wfh back to the office, but everyone returning to the office is supposed to be vaccinated. I told my boss I would NOT be getting the vaccine and he said I wouldn’t have a desk in the office until I did. So I told him I would continue to wfh. He said that “wouldn’t work.” After our phone call, I got an invite for a zoom conference with my boss and an HR rep!? They’re infringing on my rights by requiring a vaccine. What can I do to make sure I keep my job?

The coronavirus is overhyped. Change my mind.

Any moms have suggestions for online classes or youtube videos/channels to watch that will help prepare husband and I for baby and delivery? Our in person classes at the hospital were cancelled due to covid but we still want to attend or watch something that will help us prepare and know what to expect (other than books, we're already ontop of those). I came out of a 6 year LTR at 26. After a decent recovery and my quarter life crises, covid hit. It's been 3 years and at 29 I'm really starting to freak out. I've put in a lot of effort in dating, more than anyone I know. My ex got married 4 months post our breakup, other commitment phobic guys I dated are also married. Feels like there is no one left.

Anyone, a family member or a friend suffer from Parosmia as a post covid long-haul symptom? Would love to hear if you have had any success with any treatment to mitigate. Thank you

Are people billing these covid cases a level 2 or 3 inpatient?

I want a one hour fitness class that focuses on strength training/conditioning/muscle definition (more so than cardio). I want to attend that and be content that I worked out. Wherever I see, it's only cardio classes/focused heavily on cardio. Am I not looking properly?! Anyone has any reco? I can't be trusted to do this on my own, not for the next few months at least. I've gotten way too lazy during covid and I want to break that. Reg- PT for 4/days a week is way too expensive...
