I feel like I'm the only teacher in my school who is concerned about covid. Am I alone?

Any firm hiring actively in SAP data and analytics focusing on BI/HANA/S4HANA? Have prior big 4 exp and moved to independent contracting. With current covid scenario is out of project for 4 months. Can work FT or contract.. no visa required. Please let me know if any of you have any leads. thanks.

Going to my first in-person local networking event since covid after work today. I’m worried I forgot how to be a human in public over the past 18 months. Used to be relatively good at working a room (for someone who codes) but it was a skill I worked at for years before the pandemic hit.

Do y’all have any advice?

Have a trip planned to go to Rome next week. Should I cancel even though coronavirus is mainly in the north? Have been really looking forward to this trip, but not sure if it’s irresponsible to go.

I want to quit so bad. I've saved up enough to last me nearly 2 years of living expenses. I planned to quit in April but then COVID hit and I was advised by all my friends not to. Not sure I can take it anymore. It's not even the work environment, it's the work. Idgaf about financial reporting, audit, risk or compliance. I didn't even major in it.

Long story short: last year in Nov 2020 I accept an offer for concentrix but unable to join due to COVID situation and got approval from the reporting manager it was only for a week.
Now recently I got offer for concentrix pune but they are asking to continue with last package which is below the baseline for this process.
When I spoke to the HR he says it's the policy and nothing can be done.
I loved the process but it would be really hard for me with the package.

That you should try to do an early promotion for every single level except senior manager.
