assisted living for the rest of his life. All I have to do is chill, do my job, and support these people. I don’t feel like I can do this, though. I’m so used to taking risks and am terrified of fucking this up when all I have to do is keep my job and shift my focus to being there for my family and people I care about.

I think it probably feels stressful and overwhelming to you because it’s New and it’s a new stage in life. You can do it! You’ve taken care of family (maybe lesser extent but still done it with wife and family) and kept a job while taking risks. You can certainly do that without the added stress of risks and trying to move up in career/ dating, etc! And worst case, you lose your job, you find a new one! You are smart and capable. You’ve made it this far and you will figure out the next steps. Don’t doubt yourself or how much you’ve already dont. Just because it doesn’t feel Easy or natural does not mean that you can’t do it ❤️ also you’re not alone - lots of people feel this way before and after they get married / have kids. A normal doubt to have but life is full of uncertainty and you’ve done sooooo many hard things already! Like having the courage to get married that’s wonderful! You can do it. Totally normal to freak out, but my two cents is don’t act on those feelings and panic too much

In the start of busy season and my 8 month old goes to daycare 3 days a week. I feel worn down already by work & her (a single mom basically). I was looking forward to her going to daycare today because we had off and I could run errands and just have a DAY to myself.. her school was cancelled. Is it bad if I take a sick day on Wednesday just to have a mental break, alone.. I feel guilty because it’s busy season.. but I feel like I am drowning.

I just need to vent. I am so sick of dealing with one of my coworkers. He has been a thorn in my side since I started working at my new job. He thinks he is the boss, despite the CEO telling him he's not the boss. He wastes 90% of his time micro-managing me instead of doing his own job. He intentionally alters my work after it was finalized, without telling anyone. He lies to everybody and nobody here likes him. The CEO won't get rid of him, nobody knows why. I love my job, but can't stand him.

Anyone know what most employers’ policies are on weed these days? I found out I have to do a hair follicle drug test for my new job, and I have taken a few small (5mg) edibles in the past 90 days. Not a regular user and it’s legalized in my state (decriminalized and legal for medical in the employer’s state). Any thoughts? I’m stressed about it.

I got sick with what I at first thought was stomach bug last Sunday (vomiting, fatigue, then crazy chills and body aches). Lasted 1 day. My nose was also a bit congested, so went to get a pcr on Monday and got a positive result. Tested again at 2 diff places on Wed - 2 negatives. All pcr. Had no symptoms since Sunday. Has anyone had something similar happen to them? Was it just false positive (everyone’s been saying that almost never happens), or just super mild case of Covid?
