I feel like this is a dumb question. If you make a typing tool based on a segmentation/clustering analysis, what does the actual tool look like as a deliverable? You get your discriminating coefficients, and then… what goes in the file that gets handed to a client? An excel file with what in it? Thank you 😌

From what I’ve seen it’s an excel file that allows you to punch in responses for the determining questions/statements and then a cell spits out what segment that person falls in (PLUS a batch version where you can page in response data and it spits out the corresponding segment for each respondent/row)

like

Thank you!

I think it depends on what the client is expecting. Is there an endpoint for them to continue to classify against or just a one time classification of new data. Both are ligit deliverables in my understanding.

like

Thanks!

It’s a file with some basic questions to be answered by the person being typed - embedded with their algorithm - that gets between 75-90% accurate in terms of segmentation typing. Sometimes the questions are simple - sometimes they are on a scale.

Partners or whomever can help me understand about billing and hours. To keep things simple, let’s say you only have one staff to work 1,700 billable hours a year on a $60k salary and you have only one job that and the rate charged to the client is $300/hour and an projected hours budget of 1,700 hours. So ideally you would have revenue of $510k. If the staff takes less time partners make less money and if they take more time partners make more money while the staff keeps the same salary?

I am much stressed.. it’s only been 5 months to join Capgemini. I joined in as cyber security consultant with good package.
However, the work I do the tricks, logics and solutions I share with team to apply in the project… all are of no use when discussed with the architect guy. The whole team rely upon the wordings/solutions suggested by him only. It feels like my skill/knowledge and experience is of no use.
I feel like what am I doing here….? Any suggestions please.

My firm has a collections budget (80% of your billable rate x 1850 hours) and an hourly budget that must be met in order to be eligible for a bonus. The firm cares very little about originations and will reward someone for making their collections over someone who brings in new work. I missed my collection budget due to some odd timing with a client, but originated more than all my peers so no bonus for me. I’ve been at this same mid level firm for 9 years and it’s all I know. Is this normal??

Hello all. My company just went through an acquisition and the company did some restructuring of job titles. When they did this we were all advised the company would be making sure our jobs pay aligned with the national average.
My issue with this is my job title went from a Technical Support Supervisor to a Customer Success Team Lead. I have voiced my concerns with management but have been advised job titles are semantics. In my eyes this is a demotion, and will affect how much my job is worth.
