My manager is a woman, and she is always commenting on how I look in front of everyone - and it just gets so weird. Ex: on Zoom calls with everyone, she’ll call attention to my outfit, or to my extensions, or to my make up when it REALLY ISNT THAT BAD! Plus we Zoom with all other guys so it’s like UGH stop making it weird. And it’s never a straight forward compliment - it’ll be like “Hey arent you cold in that shirt?” *attention is automatically on my shirt”.CONT.

Seeing as we are going to be WFH for a while longer... Anyone have recos for remote workout classes (ideally HITT) that can be done over zoom? I’ve used a personal trainer for years and am a confident trainer but have never done classes, let alone remote. Thank ya 🙏🏼

My organization absorbed another and the former deputy PM became a branch head - a demotion. For org was more focused on tech dev and not delivering a product on a sked. New org is very focused on that. He is not a driving leader, but is the only one with the tech knowledge needed. He is retirement eligible. He has no heir apparent - previous org didn’t plan that way. If I move him under someone who is a driver - he retires and I lose the knowledge. If I don’t, we may not meet schedules. Advice?

Do any of you struggle with public speaking still later in your career? 6 YOE (<1 year in consulting) and I still feel like I suck and get too convoluted because I’m so anxious and nervous. My Apple Watch literally alerted me of a high heart rate (over 120 bpm) while sedentary during a client presentation. How to overcome resentment that stems because of a step sibling? I have 2 step siblings who are actual siblings( I am the odd one out). Since childhood, I remember my older step sister clearly isolating me out of the equation with her brother. I have always tried to be nice loving and have done more than enough to win her affection.
