Can anyone refer for IT audit practice. I have 3.5 plus experience in IT audit and overall 8 years of experience.

My husband is a L4 data engineer in Canada. He wants us to immigrate to the US so he spoke with his team about transfer. His team submitted a ticket to amazon immigration to hire him in US on L1 visa as data engineer L4. His manager told him that immigration ticket responded and said that he needs to be hired as L5 and work as L5 for one year before they can start his L1 visa process. Is that true? Can he be transferred with L1 visa with data engineer L4 or does he need to be L5?

Could you easily find another job after working for FAANG? Any stories?

My spouse and I are watching “See” on Apple TV. It’s about a post-apocalyptic society where everyone has been born blind for hundreds of generations but speak English. One man is born with the ability to see and teaches himself how to read by looking at ABC books. He then educates himself on all topics by reading old textbooks. Between my spouse and I, one of us said this is impossible since the man has no indication of what the letters represent—the other disagrees. What do you think?
