I feel so much pressure to invest in this highly volatile and seemingly overpriced market since inflation gonna make our money worth 💨 in a few years

If the market tanks, just buy more. Win-win in my book.

When doesn’t it?

I’m 34. With 30 more years of investing to go until retirement. Obviously I’ll move to safer and more balanced investments as I get closer, but how do I lose?

Inflation might be coming but it’s not going to blow you out right away. We’re probably talking about 2-3% inflation in 2021-2023, maybe 4-5%. That’s steep but not a Weimar Republic or Venezuela scenario.

Dollar cost average into index funds or be selective on individual shares and buy at your price points. Don’t over rotate on inflation apart from maybe under weighting fixed income and being motivated to put cash to work over the next few months.

Been recruiting off cycle PE for 7 months now and it’s had so many ups and downs, but yet to secure anything. For upcoming on cycle, are all roles going to be 20202 start? I want to leave for 2021 as I’ll be at 4 YOE then and I think I am more than ready, but off cycle interviewing has been draining

Hey all, I am young and looking for advice. I have 100 shares of Lucid Motors, but I am now in the red and fear it could get much worse or even go to 0.

Should I sell the shares, buy a LEAP and move the money elsewhere? This way if the stock does skyrocket I can buy back 100 shares at a cheap price? Plus LEAPS keep a lot of value based solely off the fact that there’s a lot of time left and this is a speculative stock, right?

Strategy atm is selling covered weeklies, not helping much…

I've been in a bear put diagonal (debit spread, defined risk for newer traders) since last July. TLT is a 20 year bond fund. Price moves inversely to interest rates. So this trade is based on my thesis from last summer that interest rates will rise.

It's been a very profitable trade. It requires active management. As many of you know, I use diagonals heavily and have been trading them for about 20 years.

This thread is to cover my thesis and trade and to see where others are on rate trades.
