Have anyone of you given the Amazon Online Assessment for MBA summer internship 2023? If so, how long does it take for Amazon to reach out with a decision about next round post OA ?
It’s been 2 weeks and I haven’t heard back anything yet. Looking to see if it’s the same with fellow applicants. Thank you

Do an intense job search and be clear you prioritize WLB. The role you want is out there it’ll just take work to find
What role? ^
You don’t have to do this forever!
Nothing is forever. Not this job. Not your debt. Not even love 🥺 cheer up! 🙌🏼
Yeab the "not even love" ouuuuchhh lol. Unfortunately true, but sheesh let them ppl believe in Santa longer plz hehe

I would encourage you to try and pay off that debt ASAP and go do something you’ll enjoy much more. If you scrimp and save for ~2 years (get roommates, whatever) you could pay off that debt pretty fast given your income to debt has to be at least 1:1
I feel for you though, I know the job can be a grind but hopefully worth it once you exit! I’m sure there’s other options willing to pay you ~180 as well after you hit 2 years
You can find post mba consulting pay for better wlb. Jump on the FAANG/tech bandwagon, or biotech/pharma or financial services. Assuming you have about 1 year of post mba consulting finished, start looking. Update your linkedin and so on.
What types of roles at FAANG?
Take a breath. Keep it all in perspective.
If you don’t like your situation, when you’re in a calmer headspace, start to create an action plan to get out of consulting.
If you can, find an accountability buddy to help you navigate things including how you’ll manage paying down debt esp if you decide to take a lower paying, but more balanced, job. You may have to sacrifice a few years, but you have more control than it may feel like you do right now.
I found the debt free community on Instagram and YouTube really helpful when I felt at a loss.
Remember…take a deep breath every now and again. You’ll get through it.
Better Wallet, Dear Debt, Lo Mills, The Crafty Budgeter are good Instagram and YouTube channels for debt payoff.
Best finance show is The Money Guy Show - it’s a podcast and a YouTube channel. Very numbers driven and focused more in building wealth overall.
Take notes readers: think long and hard before jumping to get an MBA! Don’t think I ever will. Sorry OP!
There are also consulting roles that are a little more chilled out. Or so I have heard from old friends as I’m not in one of them.
But I think post mba consultant pay can be matched in the industry.. it’s just that industry doesn’t offer equally fast growth.
I'm in the same boat.

I already refinanced nearly 2 years ago to a private loan but was dumb and got fixed 3.96%
Damn are you me?
Yes. Let’s brush our teeth
OP, It’s ok. Trust me, most of us have gone through confused and stressful times like you. The ones that cross personal, professional and academic boundaries simultaneously are the toughest. Because you cannot take solace in any of them. This will pass. Either you will get numb to the grind or, as it happened with me, I started enjoying my profession and career. You are only one assignment or one mentor away from joy. Later, even if that changes, you have tasted the secret and that will sustain you for a while. Hang in there.
How high is your interest rate, and how many years into consulting are you?
I refinanced at 3.96% almost 2 years ago now. I only lasted 1 year in consulting and couldnt take it anymore and went to industry
