Gatorade has a lot of sugar in it. Sugar is very acidic in the body and isn’t good. Could you add fruit to your water, instead?

I'm posting as a both a Nutrition major and as someone who has directly seen the consequences of this topic. Garorade is high in electrolytes...aaaand, as a result, sodium. Lots of sodium. Sodium, alongside other organs, can really hurt your kidneys. My uncle was a pro-level tennis player who suffered severe kidney damage and had to go on dialysis due to his reliance on sports drinks like Gatorade. He is (thankfully) alive to tell the tale, but do you want to get to that point? If it's flavour that's the issue, that's an easy fix! Try Body Armor Lyte and powdered/liquid natural water flavourings that are low sodium and calorie to make your water taste way better!

Well anything in excess is bad.. havent drank Gatorade in years but doesn't it have a lot of sugar?

like

Make your own flavored water or electrolytes drinks so you know what you’re drinking. Google recipes.

BCG1- I don’t think so. But I have noticed anything with stevia gives me a headache.

Have you tried sparking water? Even unflavored has a different taste than tap.

like

Yes makes me super burpy and acidic! Really like bomb loud burps!

Honestly, I've had a lot of luck weaning off Gatorade with mio sport. Comes in Gatorade flavors without all the sugars. Idk what the mio flavor name is, but my favorite is the light blue one that tastes like glacier ice

like

Add lemon, lime, mint, cucumber..basically anything to make water taste better. Or make tea and ice it. Don’t do processed drinks

Look into Cirkul. It's a water bottle with flavor sips.

I steep water in the fridge with lots of fresh lime wedges. Only way I can hit my hydration goals.

Is a JD a good move? I am currently a claims analyst for a top brokerage firm in NY. However I also want to attend law school as I think it will grow my career. Is this the right move? I plan to go into labor law (I.e. littler and Jackson Lewis) or an attorney for an insurance firm as a backup plan.

Good morning!

Still trying to figure out this whole Fishbowl thing, so here goes my first post.

I would love to get into provider credentialing, but all employers I've looked at want at least 3 years of experience. So, I'm looking at Provider Network Coordinator roles, because I'm finding some of those roles don't need AS MUCH experience. I'm a RHIT, and have been working in healthcare for nearly 10 years.

Any input on employers is appreciated!

My total experience is around 7+ years and am currently working in a MNC from the past 4 years. I was planning to make a switch to some other company but recently my manager has mentioned to me in person and as well as on my appraisal feedback (in writing) that I will be nominated for the H1B visa in the coming cycle. This was in July 2022. Should I be worried that it won't happen or should I start looking for the switch.?
