Super basic question - when I buy a token on a centralized exchange, which blockchain does the coin belong to? If I then want to transfer the token to a wallet that connects to a different blockchain, how does that work? Context is I am trying to transfer USDC from crypto.com to my metamask wallet but am wondering how that would work for different networks in the wallet.

Anyone here working at Dreamworks Animation, @disney studios, @cartoon network Dreamworks Animation or Nickelodeon
My 19yo daughter is attending a State school for animation and she’s worried that it’s not a top school for job placement. Her professor pointed out that she’s “too talented” for the school she’s at now. She’s thinking to transfer to a top school in California or FL
I’m looking for creatives working in animation field or related who can provide some mentorship to my daughter.

I think there are a lot of people in this bowl born on third base that pass it off as getting there themselves.

It is probably a cop-out. I was gifted some valuable knowledge and taught really great lessons about financial self-sufficiency(my Mom called it character building). But I had some hurdles to overcome...my Dad still owes child support at age 73, if that gives you an idea! For example, I bought my first car for $1,000(it was born the same year as me)...had my first job at 15 to pay for said car. I have spent the last few years talking with a lot of folks in the FIRE crowd and almost all of them were not given much in the way of financial resources...however, most of them had a very good education...either formal or informal. I can say that I am highly privileged to receive a great education...but I paid for all seven of my years of college myself! The informal education was key for me...who else had a grandmother who told them what a Roth IRA was in like 1998 when they were passed into law? Anyway, it is the knowledge and the discipline to act on it...I was fortunate to receive equal doses of both growing up and committed myself to continually learning and improving...but I had far less material possessions and money thrown my way as compared to my peers. Just my two cents.
If you’re on this bowl, you’re doing ok.
Do things on your own pace to make progress. Only you know what you need now and in the near/far future. Don't fall for the trap of keeping up with others to the detriment of other important things.

Would you like to vent? A lot of us on here are very supportive. There's trolls too, but I'll say, you can count on me. Please share.
I feel you OP. Don't compare yourself too much to others. I find the "what's your net worth" questions of little value (not useless) to me bc everyone has different circumstances. There are a lot of good questions being asked/answered, and use those to set a goal to work towards
OP- I can assure you there will be someone that has lower savings than you but you can’t compare what you have with other people. Life is always unfair on many things ....... just cherish what you have and make effort to live a good life...... that’s all really matters at the end.
We all had to start somewhere. Feel free to post if you have questions or if there is anything you want bounce off of anonymous strangers. Like VP1 said, there will be some trolls, but mixed in you might find some good advice.
Also remember that we aren’t your fiduciary and this is anonymous advice, so pick what sounds good and do your own research or talk to a financial advisor.
@op - what’s your ultimate goal? Then break it down by month to get to what you want
Break it down and it’ll become more manageable. Otherwise it’ll stay overwhelming. Do you have a budget? Do you have an emergency fund? Do you know of all your debts? Have you set a timeline for when you want all your debts paid? Are you maxing out 401k? Roth IRA? HSA? And then saving in a brokerage account?
