Wow. Starting a new project and feel so anxious about how everything is set up and how much is riding on me. I want to quit every day, and when I think about the work I just feel worse and worse.
I feel like I keep crying out for help or attention or something because of how bad I feel but that I keep getting ignored. I'm just scared I'm going to spiral.
I feel exhausted all the time and I just want to keep sleeping as soon as I wake up because I never feel rested. The feeling is starting to aggravate me, I want to punch through a wall or something. I'd do anything to feel rested right now. I'm so upset. I can't do this anymore
I second what S&1 said. Don't even need to say it's a doctor's appointment. My teams know that I have a standing meeting every Friday and so I'll be taking a late lunch
I'd recommend seeing if you can set up weekly therapy appointments at the same time each week. I tell my team at the beginning of each project that I have a doctor's appointment every Friday and we work around it. Feel better.
Yeah this was just my mistake :( I scheduled for the last few weeks and forgot I hadn't scheduled this week and beyond
I'd tell your therapist what happened and how it affected you and ask them to prompt you at the end of your session about future appointments. My therapist confirms our next appointment each time I go.
