I found cheap flights to Bariloche, Argentina for 12ish days late August/early September around Labor Day. Does anyone have any thoughts on skiing Cathedral that late in the season and/or what COVID looking like there?

I’m WFH so I’d be skiing maybe 5/6 days with a Friday off or two. If anyone has been, any feedback on Bariloche or any of the ski resorts being worth the 19 hours of flying it takes to get there would be amazing.

heads up idk if they are allowing visitors yet. last i heard borders were still closed (assuming you are flying in from another country)

Yeah, I’d definitely check this. The situation is pretty bad in Argentina and most people are not fully vaccinated yet.

Following. Looks like an amazing destination.

Same - adding to my list! Keep us updated on how it goes OP

Haven’t been to Bariloche but anywhere in Patagonia is amazing. Even the scenery is worth the 19 hrs of flying
