Love is tough.
I have tried to start my own company for 9 months, and the company is unregistered. I have mentioned it in my Resume and my background that this is an unregistered company of my father, my friend and me .. I still furnished a relieving letter of my tenure in this unregistered company. I have also told the HR when i sent my resume (where this is unregistered and no documents are available is written) I hope this doesn't cause trouble in background verification in FADVDeloitte JPMorgan Chase Morga

You can’t move now.
No, please mind your own business (not trying to be rude but honest). This will 100% ruin your relationships as people will feel embarassed that you’ve one over them.
SM1 - I just gave an advice from my experience. I’m sure your experience is different

UPDATE: I had a conversation with my cousin. I shared the link and did not pass any judgement - I told her to do whatever she thought was appropriate. She called me after confronting her daughter and was very thankful. Turns out my cousin monitors the phone but the kid has been hiding/ deleting apps before the mom checks her phone. Man, kids these days. It’s a crazy world out there, parents! Be vigilant!

Like I said on this post, the kid is way beyond her years 😣
I would appreciate if someone told me. Your other friend probably felt embarrassed or judged. It’s sad because I think that mentality really prevents desis from having close friends.

I agree…!
You presumably have your cousins email. You can make a burner email ID in a minute on gmail or whatever, and send an email to her with the deets. In the subject, mention her name so she opens it. In the body of the email, also mention that this is from a concerned fellow parent who was too shy to tell her directly and to not look into finding out who sent the email too much. Wish her all the best
If it was my child, I would want to know. Google how to phrase it so she doesn’t feel embarrassed. My husband has a way of phrasing things in a way that makes it seem like normal conversation or not a big deal. Unfortunately I don’t have that knack

When I told my friend about her daughter, I basically said that I found a TikTok, shared the link with her and told her to do whatever she thought was right (in terms of having a conversation with her daughter). I did not say that what I saw was right or wrong and did not pass any judgment. I also ensured that I would not share what I found with anyone (which I never did).
I know it is embarrassing for parents to find these things out. The internet is such a scary place 😞

As a parent of a toddler and thinking forward 10-15 years, I would DEFINITELY appreciate such information. What do you think? Would you appreciate it if someone called your kid out or would you see it the other way?
Tell the cousin. I would appreciate it.
Even if it might damage relationship in short term, it is the best for long term.
This is what you can do.. make up a fake story that your colleague’s pre teenage daughter had an instagram and posting inappropriate reels. Your colleague checked her phone and she had DMs from perverts. And then add that the world has become a scary place and people should keep a check on their kids activities on mobile phones. Throw in some app names along with tik tok, Snapchat etc that are becoming common among predators looking for young children.
May be that will be enough for the light bulb moment with your cousin and she’ll go through her daughters phone.

Good suggestions but my entire family knows that I am active on TikTok and that I’m well versed on the app! Also, her username is nothing close to her real name so looking her up in front of her mom would be too staged!

I’d suggest you inform the parent if you think she is unaware of it. Be kind with your words and don’t make a huge deal out of it. More than anything else, social media can be an unsafe place for young children. I’d put the child’s safety above the risk of a small misunderstanding between cousins.
But I’m confused. How come an 8 year old has a TikTok account with provocative stuff without the knowledge of the parent? How does the kid even have a phone and an account? 🙄 I’m not on TikTok but does it allow children to open accounts?

You can use a fake date of birth and the kid has her own phone. Her daughter is definitely beyond her years and she is I a handful 😵💫
If you came across such video then why wouldn't her parents know about it or find it? Either they are not responsible parents to keep an eye out for their kids or they encourage these type of videos. Either way, if I were you, I would mind my own business.

Accenture 1: A lot kids end up doing wrong things even after good parenting. Don’t be so quick to judge.
