In the same boat, ultimately you have to do what’s best for you and the trajectory of your career. You can still remain friends with the folks you enjoy working with and if anyone snubs you because you’re leaving that just shows you their true character. I know it’s hard to leave a place that you feel comfortable at but you got this :-)

You don’t have to be miserable to move; in fact, it can feel great to leave on a high note. If the job feels right, go for it.
Felt that way when I left my agency 2 jobs ago - left on a positive note with everyone and they told me the door was always open to me should I want to come back. Well turns out the job I left for was trash and I did end up coming back (to the overall holding company but a different agency)

I’ve been there. Trust your gut! You’ll know what’s right for you
If you are well regarded at your agency and leave on a good note, give it a go and hate it, your old agency might keep the door open for you. I have actually seen this a few times. Also, your agency may counter you if they feel like replacing you would be more expensive and more effort than matching another offer.

Better to regret something you did than something you didn’t do. Go for it.

Fine, Tim, we can talk at the next CLAM 😇
If you leave on good terms you can always go back. Are these friends who would talk to you still if you quit? It’s a good question to ask yourself. Are they friends in the moment or friends for a long time?
Would love to hear an update. What did you decide?
Aww same to you AcctSup! I’m enjoying relaxing with family before closing out my time with Havas next week. I hope January 10th is a great day for you my friend, if you’re going to an IPG shop who knows maybe we’ll run into each other :-)
