I get fed up when being asked to do logical tests and case interviews. I’m too old for that.

I don't mind those, at least its constrained by the time of the interview.

Take home tests/presentations are ridiculous.

Exactly my point

If you have that much experience already, then you’re applying for the wrong roles most likely. At some point your interviews should be more behavioral and situational as you grow in your career.

Tbh, I’m a firm believer that people should be cased to get rid of the fakers. If you have seven years in consulting and are logical, the case should hardly be a test.

In regards to a candidate’s time, I agree that lengthy take home cases and such are probably overkill, but a quick 30 minute case over the phone or on video seems like fair game to me… regardless of if the candidate went to an Ivy… or has 7+ years of consulting

Also, even within EY, we have so many different types of “consulting”, seven years in one practice may not equate seven years in a different practice

Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?
