I think public accounting has made it where I only look at the negatives. I’m at my parents and my dad was doing a project and I find myself picking apart what he did and wanting to say this this and this are wrong rather than looking at the project and saying it looks good overall
I've been on a Salesforce implementation for 4 months and almost every day I hear someone from the client say "Well I don't know how Salesforce works but..." 🤦♀️
C2 at MBB. On track for promotion to become project leader in July. Although exhausted with the work and want to exit by end of year. What are some typical exit opportunities at project leader level?

Designers - Do you practice presenting before showing your work to the client? Personally I just wing it because I've been working on the designs - I feel I know them inside and out. 🤔
Starting my first travel project, how much/how do I sign up for tsa precheck/how do I use delta skymiles exactly? I have the app
Describe your project in one pic.
Read that Deloitte was standing up the NYC unemployment call center. I’m getting staffed to a call center that is just getting stood up, too. Just wanted to see if there were lessons learned from people working some of these call centers during the pandemic. I want to be able to help callers as well as maintain sanity. Also, what are some of the good things that y’all have seen come out of such a project so far?
Ladies, any outfit recommendations for client dinner on west coast? (FAANG client) Im from the east coast and so not want to be overdressed. I am pear shaped for reference. Please share pics :)
My client got F'ed over by one of their employees failing to disclose some things to the SEC I caught it brought it to the clients attention now I'm stuck doing diligence on over 100 employees. I keep catching things. I feel like I'm creating more issues for the clients but at the same time I'm protecting the firm as a whole which they're thankful for. Do I have anything to worry about by finding all these problems?
Ever been promoted at your firm while on a project and you have to be rolled off bc your billable rate is higher than what the client has budgeted? Or does your firm find this as an opportunity to renegotiate the SoW?
I have a situation where the same exact data format is available for all clients we are working with. We use Alteryx to intake and transform the data etc etc. Each client has its own considerations but largely the Alteryx workflow remains the same. I have to review peoples work for the client specific changes to the model. What happens today is we pass models back and forth via email. However this is becoming annoying. Is there anyway we can collaborate on a workflow together in real-time?
If a client is being a pain in the ass can you transfer and ship their assets to the firm of your choice? Do you need their permission?
Is it bad during a first round interview to ask about horizontal opportunities (at Google)? They reached out to me about an operational accounting role and want to interview me but my long-term career interests are different. Currently in tech/data consulting. Thanks in advance!
Anybody here apply for a 2nd PPP draw this past week and gotten it? Which lender did you use? Thoughts on womply or SmartBiz (<<<Kabbage is sending folks there). 5/31 is the last day, but Chase...
In search of advice here: I have a hybrid background in design and management. I have an opportunity to join a team as a designer and am also getting traction on an application for account management. I feel comfortable and excited doing both. How can I decide on which avenue to take? Which is better for long term growth and $$? Both options are roughly same salary. One is fully WFH one is temp WFH with 2-3day in office. As a designer I know there will be more challenges.
Hey FB fam! Got counseled out on Friday. Tech Strategy Senior Associate at Strategy& for 2 years, aligned to Healthcare vertical. Looking for my next stop in consulting. Thanks in advance
San Francisco here
The client deleted half of our suggestions, but ended up in a much higher IRR and NPV. Maybe we should have swapped roles…
Do you guys think the if Biden and Harris are elected, they would make the healthcare system better? By better I mean: less complex and cheaper for the consumer. With premiums and deductibles constantly rising, I feel like healthcare is getting out of reach, even for households with ~100K in income
Hi All, I have received an interview call from Capgemini India for Market Research Analyst role and the interview is on 28th May. Will be grateful enough if someone can guide me more on this role.
S1 in international tax (CPA) at b4 in HCOL, looking to switch to another b4 in Nashville. Anyone know what salary I should expect as an S1 or an S2?
What should one keep in mind while considering Product Maketing roles at Google? Is that a good exit? What do people do after a few years in product marketing? Thinking of making a transition to Tech from MBB.
How do you all handle tantrums from your toddler during dinner? We finally made it out to have a socially distanced dinner with a female friend of my husband. My toddler started getting really fussy during dinner and my spouse continued his conversation -not wanting to leave. I took the baby on a brief walk but that wasn’t really helping. Spouse still did not want to cut dinner short (we were already on dessert) and he kept his conversation going. I sat down and baby is grabbing plates (cont)
Have a job interview for a role I’m excited about tomorrow but I’m so depressed and tired I can’t even muster up the energy to prep. Any words of encouragement would be great
This is my 7th year of teaching. I’ve been experiencing job burnout since my 3rd year. I know I need to do something else. I don’t think classroom teaching is ‘it’ for me. Did anyone else go through this? What did you end up doing?
Anyone from RSM Philadelphia office? I will need referral. I am helping someone. Thank you very much.
