I am preparing to ask my boss for a promotion in the coming months. I have made several awesome contributions over the past year I have been here but have had a few (minor) mistakes happen recently. Any advice for how to go about asking? Should I drop hints I will asking soon?
Am I the only one who would raise their eyebrows when people reaching out with “Hey - blahblahblah”? Is that difficult to spell out people’s first name? Do you also reach out to higher ranks with a “Hey”?

Pros and cons of CFGI Risk Advisory/Assurance Manager? Just got a pretty competitive offer of 18% raise in what I’m making as a recent manager promote in Tech Assurance Audit.
There's a lot of backstory to this but I can only type so much SO I've been with my company for 10.5 hours and just found out they've increased their base pay for starting employees $3-5/hr. I have received my annual 3-4% raises, only because I always make sure to ask for it, but nothing more. They didn't even acknowledge my 10 year anniversary with the company and it's a pretty small company (less than 100 employees). I feel I should get a $3-5/hr raise since the base pay was raised. Thoughts?
When you are the only female in a big meeting and you literally have to raise your hand to say something because you don't want to talk over others.
Sometimes I wish I never learned about this career path. Ever since I have it’s only caused me stress and anxiety. Anything I accomplish is never good enough since I always have to be working towards the next goal, whether that be another promotion, more impactful projects, an MBA.
Best way to ask for raise without making it seem like an ultimatum, don't have any offers lined up / haven't put in any substantial effort to get offers.
Any chance of getting into M7 MBA directly from mid-tier FDD? I did 2 years in big 4 audit (including promotion) before making the transfer. End goal is IB.
Take a project that will set me up for manager promotion next year? Or take the project that is outside my comfort zone and will build / diversify my skill set for the long term? Thoughts?
I got an offer from a PE ops team I’m content with. Should I still negotiate? Does this mean there is still more room to raise the offer given this is their first offer?

New to options trading, been following this bowl a while and trying to get educated with courses on options alpha and TD Ameritrade. How many of yall are able to make consistent extra income from options trading? I’m not expecting BC wins but was hoping after some practice for a little side income to make the no raise year a little less painful. Just wondering if it’s more of a gamble then anything except for the exceptional few...
I need help immediately! So I just got an offer from Gartner, but I am also interviewing with Google, Microsoft, and Tik Tok. I am prepping for a final loop at Microsoft but told Gartner I have an offer to make negotiations more in my favor. Is it bad to accept an offer from Gartner then finish the interviews at another company higher on my list and accept the other offers(Google/Microsoft) instead? & Can I push for my compensation without presenting the other offers?
What's the environment and culture like at IRS? Trying to gauge whether I should jump from VA, which I would say sucks balls
Got an offer within Product Ops (Mt View) for L4, 145k base, 15% bonus, 185k equity (33/33/22/12), 15 sign on. One competing offer (that is lower) and only MBB promotion to Engagement manager in a few months as leverage point. Any fish guidance on how the offer fares up / how to proceed / what comp I should push for?
How do you feel about putting on hold your family expansion plans because of a recent promotion? Do you think it’s a normal thing to do? And if so, how long is the normal waiting period? Knowing that the parental leave is about 6 months!

How does one get to DCA Terminal A (Southwest airlines) via public transport? I know the yellow/blue goes to DCA but it drops off at the opposite side of the airport. That walk over is easy enough to manage if you have a small carry on and budget the time to walk, but not so manageable if you have larger luggage.

Reached out to the head of Firm A (who I had a last-round interview with a few weeks ago) to say that I received an offer from Firm B but still want to work for them. The head said that I'm one of the top candidates and that they want to schedule more time to talk in detail tomorrow. What could this mean?
