Yeah, reneging is always an option.
Why?
but i let the other company know that I got the other offer so they may not consider me anymore. i wouldn’t want them to think i’m reneging. also i don’t think i would take the offer regardless (not satisfied with the comp)
Just tell them you’d like to continue in the process. I doubt they’ll ask for details
