How do you go about dealing with a staff who did not do the majority of the work right? I try to be very nice, walk through it all &even give examples& still went wrong. I understand as a senior I take responsibility but regardless it was too timely to make them do it again and now I’m paying for it as I had to redo the stuff, do normal senior stuff, and I’m so behind on s/o’s. I don’t want to throw the staff under the bus, do I just bite the bullet instead of telling the manager?

Hi There - I'm considering a role in consulting. The role is London based and as some of you may know the commute into London by train is significantly expensive (especially compared to my pre-covid commute by car). So that I can properly consider any offers I may get - can you claim expenses generally when travelling to client site, if that client site is also in London (albeit a different part of London to where your home office).

For those in corporate development, can you talk about the financial modeling aspect of the job? How detailed do you get? Full three-statement or something much simpler? 50 tabs or less? It would be helpful if you could say what size company and whether it’s public or private. Thanks!

Hello! Any CST/CSFAs on here? I'm curious about your salary and location! My small community hospital was recently bought by a very large hospital system. They gave large raises to 95% of our employees across all specialties (some called what they got "life changing") but our group was overlooked or disregarded with no explanation! Now we are losing employees (4 have put in notices in the last 3 weeks and pretty much everyone is looking). Any suggestions on getting someone to reassess our wage?

Currently have a 5th grade girl who is struggling with classroom behaviors and choices. When questioned, she says she wants to be a boy, but her parents won’t allow it. Obviously, she is struggling with more than making good choices at school. Her parents are very kind and appreciative of all we do for their child, but they are also clearly struggling with this. I am not getting anything I need from my partner on any level and would absolutely leave if I thought she had any ability to co-parent our son. Despite what she may believe about herself, I am certain she would weaponize all aspects of parenting if I were to leave. Thus I am stuck because I love my son and can’t imagine not being in his/he being in my life on a daily basis.

I moved for work and my best friends are out of the state. I have found individual friends here, but no reoccurring hang out group. With seasonal affective disorder and anxiety, I find myself not wanting to leave the house and working late. A lot of the activities I like to do are outdoor based and cost $$$ to join indoor version (yoga in the park vs joining a studio). Trying to save money and not lose my motivation—it’s a rough start to the winter. (Yes I have a therapist 💭 & psychologist 💊)
