At what point in the interview process do you bring up how much the job pays? I’m looking to make a move to a company that doesn’t have too much info on glassdoor or levels.fyi. 3 rounds into the process, and have no idea how much of a bump i’m looking from my current role. Do I wait until they offer me a job?
Opinions on Two Sigma Data Strategy and Operations team?
Interviewing for an associate role in this team and wondering if anyone has any insight on them as they’re relatively new. I’m coming from a bank S&T role and would be making a longterm career switch.
Is this a good longterm career move, how is the culture and work life balance, and can I expect comparable or better TC? My priorities are WLB and learning/growth
YOE: 3+
TC: expecting 200k+ in current role

Yes. Shows candor. And if omitted, would have raised unnecessary questions over something petty.
Exactly the kind of thing that disclosing keeps from becoming an issue. You made the right choice
Yes- I got a speeding ticket as well when I was going through character and fitness. I sent in an affidavit letting them know what happened. They asked zero questions and everything went forward without a hitch.
Thank you so much! This entire situation trying to be admitted has been a nightmare, applied in January only to JUST be told missing employee affirmation.
Yes. Good job.
you certainly can disclose it, but I remember some bar applications explicitly excluding speeding tickets (i.e., the instructions said anything more than a speeding ticket). I think most states don't think speeding has any bearing on character and fitness.
I was told to add an addendum saying how I’m going to resolve it (it was my first ticket and I was definitely speeding, so I’m gonna pleas guilty and pay the fine)

You did the best thing and I wouldn't worry about it after this - C&F generally isn't worried about traffic/parking tickets. If it was your 15th one, maybe some questions. 😄
My first! I’m a 4 hour drive away from my parents who I haven’t seen in three months, was definitely going fast 😩 lesson learned
Yes, good thinking.
I second what everyone else said. Transparency and honesty are always best, but that’s especially true during this process. If you hadn’t disclosed the speeding ticker and it was later discovered, then you would have a problem... You absolutely did the right thing, and it shouldn’t impact your admission at all, especially since it’s your first one!

Seriously? Speeding tickets (unless they end in a criminal conviction) are not considered part of our good character assessment in Ontario.
Certainly are where I am barred. They even wanted to get into the gritty details of my divorce.
Disclosing shows integrity and forthrightness. You won’t be failing C/F on account of a speeding ticket — and also, probably, full stop!
