I just got a 3 month contract offer as Senior Paid Social Strategist at Meta through a staffing agency. I have a fte with an early stage social commerce startup atm. It’s great pay but the current climate for startup fundraising is so uncertain.
I’m really conflicted between the two. On the one hand, a name like Meta would be a great resume booster (I’ve never worked for a FAANG or big ad agency.) On the other hand, 3 months at a shaky Meta could also leave me in no man’s land. Thoughts? Facebook (Meta)
Can anyone help me in getting job at TCS

Figure what works first, THEN scale those things

Naah, just stick to your number because if you agree now, regret will set in sooner than later. Don't forget it's a startup, and this will NOT be your only job. They won't say it but wait for it... You can say that as in a startup, you expect and have also heard from others that it's never one hat, but everyone has to wear multiple hats to make the company grow, and you are ready for that challenge. Also you dont want "buyers regret" set in after you join because its not a number you wanted. Be candid and frank not stubborn
Why does that necessarily mean talking you down? Sounds like you should aim to negotiate more on benefits, for one. Where are you located?
Oh, and PNW!
Had you talked about salary in your initial conversations with the recruiter or hiring manager and stated your minimum?
If it's a startup you might also be able to negotiate on stock/equity instead?
What location and how many years of exp?
I’m at 4 years and I’m at $135k base (not an account executive anymore)
