We received a minute order from a preliminary injunction hearing. Our client was ordered to post an injunction bond of $2,500. First our client walked to the courthouse to try to pay the bond up front, but they would not accept his money. He tried to call several bond companies, but all said the amount was too small. Hello! I’m only about 4 weeks pregnant, so super early. I am about to go on vacation and thankfully did a quick search on some “dos and donts” for the first trimester. I am v disappointed to see I shouldn’t do saunas and hot tubs as my vacation was really planned to be all relaxation. Newer manager here (18 moths). Recent org announcements and hiring holds have put major stress on my team. Some are hyper focused on all the bad, how do I get buy-in that this is temporary and we still have a job to do? I feel it’s more important than ever to show value vs being task takers.

I decided last week to actively look to leave not only my job but my industry, and felt really good and positive about it. Today I've woken up feeling daunted and unsure about it.

Ive sat with it for a while and I think it's because - and some of you can rightfully get your tiny violins out here - I haven't actively applied for jobs since I was a grad. Every job I have had has come from connections or referrals, but now I'm actively putting myself out there, I feel vulnerable.
