If your performance is good then you will get 21%.
Top performers get 21% . It's called DA rating. Management won't reveal this rating. If you got 21% vp means you got highest rating . Less than that like 7 to 13% or upto 15% means normal rating. No vp means you have got last rating which is PIP.

Same here, during HR interview they told that fixed will be some amount and 21% would be variable, not sure why variable is so high. Also, after document upload haven't got any updates from Accenture it's been one week now
If it is Great place to work then Variable pay does not matter
There is something called pyramid performance structure. Top performers gets 21%. An average performance is likely to get 7% -12% variable. And performance reviews are solely depends on reporting manager. This is something I personally didn't like, because the reporting manager could get biased (and it happens very often). He/She develops some favoritism and are compelled by the mandatory process to put many even under the bottom part of the pyramid with no variable during assessment year.
As you mentioned top performers will get 21% so does that mean if variable amount is 4 lakh..then they will be getting whole amount that is 4 lakh.. and if average performer gets 15% ..does that mean 15% on top of your salary
