I got an offer from firm 1 before the memorial holiday and have been stalling because I am waiting for an offer from firm 2..
I was working with a partner from firm 2 who got me an interview with the managing partner.. I got a verbal offer last week.. the staff told me they are processing the paperwork.
Should I still wait for firm 2? I feel like I can’t stall anymore.. I feel like I really should give firm 1 a response this week 😮‍💨 but I don’t want to lose both offers

I was in your situation. I turned down #1 and formal offer from #2 never came… The partner promissed to early 🤷‍♀️. Don’t turn down 1 until you get a formal offer

like

Thank you!!! Sorry that happened to you tho 😭 I hope everything worked out ok

Try telling firm 1 you want to clear conflicts before accepting formally. That should buy you a few more weeks.

Thank you!! Super helpful!

Dear all, I got the offer ❤️ Thanks everyone for your input

uplifting

I think you're missing a few words on there, but if you got a verbal offer from firm 2, what's the issue with turning down firm 1? Are you worried firm 2 might renege?

Sighhh after talking to different people I think I am going to respectfully decline firm 1 offer

If a company says that your salary expectations from the application are a little higher than what they thought but are willing to accommodate, is there still room for negotiation?

They mentioned this in the first interview so just curious if this is just a tactic and it’s well within their salary range they exact to pay.

Hi everyone , I am getting ready for a job interview, and need to create a media plan. I was hoping someone can help me with the next task: basically, I need to create inventory recommendation based on past performance. What I am very confused about is that they gave me Booked Impressions (=4M), but in the task it says I should assume there is unlimited inventory. Am I supposed to use this 4M only to calculate spend, ROAS, etc., but can actually have unlimited allocated impressions? Thank you!

I invited my SO to a work event where people are bringing a plus one. She said yes at first, then later followed up with an “if she can make it.” This happens almost every time I invite her to things, citing work. Last night I got really sad after that and couldn’t understand why she would never put me above work. She’s a dentist and has control over her schedule - can schedule treatment for another day or stop seeing patients at a certain time. Am I making a big deal out of a work event?
