Am I being paid competitively? I have been the Onboarding Sup for my HR dept for over a year now and I’m being paid the state min for salary, which for CA is 62,400. I have not gotten a merit raise since the last 2 January’s, the state raises the threshold for salary folks. My company says that was my raise. Is this right? I have been working in a company for 9 years and recently changed it and joined another one.
But now feeling like this was a wrong switch.

Work culture is not at all good, from the 1st day itself I am working like hell here.
Working for 12 hours is normal here. People are asked to stretch there hours (not a request)

Once in a while stretching is fine but daily working for 12+ hours is killing me.
No work life balance.
