Hi all, I have received a call from HR for initial screening of me for the role I applied ( Azure Devops) and told me that I would receive mails for further communication of interviews or next process. But when I open the website it is displaying that "we regret to inform that there are no openings..so on. But the stages below show, that I am still in pending review stage and I also can see an EAF. Please tell me if this is normal with Accenture or is my profile really not been shortlisted?
Would an experienced hiring manager or someone who jumped to another consultancy be willing to review my resume and offer advice/ suggestions over a phone call? Prefer someone SM-level & above 🙏
Hello KPMG folks, I need a referral in research and benchmarking (analyst) domain in Mumbai. Is there anyone who can help me to get this job?
Have an interview for a role with EY's human capital consulting group tomorrow. Any opinions on the practice?
What’s the most strategic exit you can make when getting a new job? I want to roll off my project and just say I am looking for a new project and just never take a new one... (sounds terrible I know) My current project contract is about to be over and a lot of people are using it as an opportunity to roll off even though they’re prolly gonna renew it. Start date for my new job is negotiable so I really want to collect as many checks and stack PTO as much as I can. Deloitte Accenture EY PwC Boston Consulting Group Accenture
Top exit ops for cybersec in industry?
Small firm reached out to coordinate a potential part time or per diem role and they wanted to coordinate an in person interview about a week and a half ago noting that it's phase 2 and they are in office...would have been a 40 min subway right and then no clue if masks would have been honored. Was it wrong to say Sorry don't feel comfortable?
Any MBB folks down to give me feedback/advice on my resume? Also looking for a potential referral if possible. Only if you think I have a chance!
Looking for a Salesforce consulting career at PwC? DM if interested and we can get you a referral and fast track the interview process

Expecting an offer for a director/head of Int’l expansion role at a series C startup in Logistics software in NYC. What can I expect in terms of comp? YOE: 4.5 including 3.5 at MBB (left as an EM) Current TC about $230K
Would appreciate people thoughts on Alvarez and Marsal private equity performance improvement group. The works sounds interesting on the surface. So thinking of branching out of audit and exploring A&M! Other option is probably an industry role, maybe a director of technical accounting in a public company.
Need help deciding, after big4 audit as a senior is it better to go into a industry accounting role or internal audit if what I’m looking for is less hours but still great pay. I’m leaning towards internal audit since there are no month and year end closing periods. Does anyone have any insight? I’m in a HCOL
I’m taking the GMAT in September and would like to include my score on my applications to other firms. Based on what I’m getting in practice, it would significantly improve my resume. However, I heard many firms, particularly MBB, have hiring windows in August, so applying later would hurt my chances. Is this true, and if so, when should I apply? Is it possible to apply earlier and then fill in the recruiter on my GMAT score while I’m in the process?
I’m about to start a new role as a brand strategist. What are some goals I should set for myself in my new role to be the best brand strategist I can be?
Does making mgr (starting straight out of college in consulting) at big 4 help open up exit opps? If so, what kind?
SM’s - how easy or hard was it to exit into industry at Sr director or VP roles. Did you see a big jump in your Salary + Perks?
After consulting, how hard is it to change industries (i.e. from CPG marketing to tech marketing role)? Got a good job offer in CPG/Beauty but wanted to have flexibility in case I don’t like it
Thoughts on in-house strategy role at a major bank (MS, Citi, JPM) for consultant 4-5 years out of UG? Wondering about typical pay, type of work and exit ops.

Hotel double charged me, called hotel - Fail. Called SPG - Fail. Should I call AMEX and dispute?
How much do y’all tip your practice lead? (MD/Partner). I did 12% of pre tax pre bonus salary last year but I heard other people in my office only tipped 5%. What do other 🐠 think?
Fish, need advice. I received an offer $5k less than the lowest number in the salary range I provided the recruiter. Isn’t the rule of thumb to not move for less than a 30% salary increase?
Two common phrases that, in our industry, we can never utter when talking to a client - "I don't remember" and "I don't know". It is a strict unspoken rule. Any semblance of incompetence is a major no no.

The anecdotes from covid patients are so similar: they had no choice but to work, risk exposure, and then they suffer the result. It exemplifies our inequality
I started doing 10 min easy HIIT in the morning before work and another 10 min HIIT in the early afternoon so that I don’t need to find time to do exercises in the evening. I really start to like this idea coz it gets me into a better mood in the morning and also gives me a break during the day. I also start dialing into calls that are not important and taking a walking while in the meeting. I love home office!
Has MBB lowered their standards? Maybe it’s my time.
I’ve done really well in my 2 years with my current big 4 firm and am coming up for promotion in July. I am sitting on an offer with a step up in title and 40% pay increase. They say grass is not greener on the other side (hello unlimited PTO and all the other terrible comments I’ve read for new firm. Guess who 😂😅) but it’s hard to justify not moving. Am I making a huge mistake leaving behind my 2 year hard work going to the unknown or should I just go for it and take the pay and title!? Help.
Best Marriott properties in Chattanooga (maybe Nashville)? Looking to use some free nights and upgrades.
If we mandate masks for US citizens who are fully vaccinated why don’t we check Covid status of illegals and prevent them from entering? Heck, they shouldn’t be allowed to enter anyway!!
BCG 🐠 or anyone else who recently interviewed with BCG - is there a new interview format? If so, can someone please share this format. I saw someone mentioned online test, and math test etc. instead of case studies.
