I got contacted by someone at guidepoint offering me consulting work for several hundred dollars an hour. Never heard of the company and seems questionable? Has anyone worked with them before? The message they sent me is in the comments.

It's legitimate, I've worked with them before. It's generally just a call or two to get your insights on a specific topic

I didn't accept the compensation, so I'm not sure. They had an option it could be a charitable contribution so I did that and it was sent via a direct deposit to them.

Guidepoint is like GLG and Alphasights. Theyre an expert network but also leverage the experts within their network as consultants for their clients, depending on what the client's needs are.

The offer is not for consulting work, just an expert phone call.

I work for Guidepoint Global, a leading research firm (www.guidepoint.com). I wanted to reach out to you to see if you would be interested in taking part in a paid phone consultation with our client. Our client is currently undertaking a project regarding the physiotherapy space, and would like to speak with experts to understand level of fragmentation of care providers; key pain points for physiotherapists as they think about care delivery, key considerations in selecting a practice management software etc. During my research, I came across your profile and I believe that you would be a great fit for this project. The call will last 45-60 minutes, no preparation is required and you can set your own rate (~avg. USD 300/h) As a matter of policy, our clients will not be asking you to discuss your current employer, nor will you be asked to discuss any confidential or material non-public information. You can also review the project and questions here:

I’ve done it before. It’s legit. They offered payment in the form of an Amazon gift card.

Good to know. They asked for an account number to transfer the payment to. I am not sure I am comfortable with that…

Solid insights. Thank you everyone.

I've had about 6 calls with them this past year on IT channel strategy. Totally legit, EFT to my bank account each time. Overall very good experience.

Hi everyone,

I appeared in L2 round of Capgemini recently.
Just after the intro first question they asked me " Do you have any offer and amount?" This question was asked in technical round.
I'm sure that guy wasn't a Manager.

I don't think he know how to take an interview.

Even after creating 2 asked program and answering 80% of their questions correctly.
Got rejected.
Didn't expect this kind of L2 round from Capgemini.

Has anyone heard about an offer for employment be rescinded because the background check showed a drivers license suspension 2 years ago due to a third party firm error not informing me on the results of the disputed ticket and requirement to pay ticket fees within specified time. The drivers license has since been in good order and is currently valid but the record shows a past suspension for a speeding ticket.
